hey, yokee... actually there ain't really that much difference between babbling and rambling... :p
haha yokee,
me too! when I read "vivid and vivacious", I said "there's a whole lot of v's here, but what do they mean?!". I was too lazy to grab my dictionary, so I said they are complimentary words anyway, so how far off can my guess be? vital? victorious? vintage? vigilant? vocal? See, I'm getting way off base here! At the end, I cannot escape the fate of opening up that heavy dictionary : vivid means bright and distinct; vivacious means animated and spirited.
So yokee, they are actually VERY VERY good words. So after all my "figh wah" (garbage), congratulations on your 1 year 6 months & 4 days! and you deserve to be vivid and vivacious (now if I can get that spelling right!).
jaime, it's time i asked you this, i've been holding back far too long.
are you sure you're not a famous stand-up comedian or something?
hahahahaha...
jaime...i agree 120% with bb...
r u being honest about ur job? u really do deserve a show of ur own. really im serious.
even if u think u r talking 'figh wah' its still great 'figh wah' to me hahaha
yokee and bb,
Ok from now on, I promise to tell "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me BYJ!".
I do stand up, sit down, walk around, talk alot, but unfortunately not a stand-up comedian. I'm a typical (um hm, let me try, this is a toughie) "han han kay kay, sik fan gay may" kind of gal. (got it?)
Thank you for your "doubt", but the last time I checked, I'm still one of the millions suburban housewife. Now I am also one of the millions BYJ fans. Your support and encouragement are the strongest force that always keep me going, thanks!
oh boy, if you only you can hear me roaring with laughter now! jaime, oh jaime!
the 'han han kay kay...' was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy funny... but hor, your 'spelling' made it all sound abit short-tongued, esp the 'han' bit... :p
bwahahahahahahaha
sometimes i wonder how u manage to make 'serious' word become sooo funny.
btw hor...how to interpret 'sik fan gay may'? sik fan i know but 'gay may'?
dear yokee,
"gay" means a few, "may" means dishes or types. Still no?
"han han kay kay, sik fan gay may" basically means I just stand and walk around the whole day and don't do much except eating! It's a Hong Kong slang, I think. I don't know where I heard it, but somehow it's stuck in my mind. Got the picture of my pathetic life already?
Oh bb, does my Canton-glish sound too short and abrupt? I did not add any ending sound cause I thought Cantonese doesn't have any "r" or "sh" kind of sound like Mandarin, Korean and Japanese.
Should I add "t, k, d" type of ending to it?
All happy now! Ok, if you'll excuse me, let me continue my "han han kay kay".
hahaha ok ok..got it liao ^^
u know..as for my case..i not only sik fan gay may..but...sik fan hou dor may ! bwahahahahahaha
